Message Bank allows people to leave voicemail on your service if they are unable to reach you, without the need for an answering machine or similar hardware. Configured directly through the network, each state has a different number to call to access the message bank centre. You will need to set up Message Bank with one of our Tech Support operators.
We’ll need you to provide an email address for delivery and we’ll set up a pin number for access to your service.
Once set up, you can use your pin to access the message bank and personalise the greeting that people receive when they leave a message.
Note that your provided email address will receive a receipt including a copy of the message left, you can also access it directly from your home phone.
Message Bank is a free service on the NBN however we are unable to provide it if your NBN connection is Fibre to the Premises (FTTP).
This can most easily be determined by checking to see if your phone plugs in to an NBN Co NTD inside the house.
If so, you’ll need to seek an alternate method of Message Bank, such as an answering machine or call forwarding. View or download the below attached guide for a handy guide on setting up your Message Bank.
