You can check how much data you have used at any time, log into your Southern Phone account here.
If you haven't already, you will first need to register for online access, which you can do via our website, using this form: Register for Online Access
From there, you can log in to our website and check your remaining data credit any time. On the Telstra 4G network, your usage updates in real time so you can expect an accurate readout whenever you check. Do note however that your data usage works on a session basis, running from the time you connected to your MBB, to the time you disconnected.
If you keep it connected 24/7, you won’t be able to keep it up to date so when you’re done using it, disconnect or switch off your MBB so that it has time to catch up as it can 24-48 hrs for the data credit remaining to reflect the true usage. Don't worry though, we will tell you the time and date of the last read when you check your usage remaining.
