This article contains the setup guides for all of the three modems that Southern Phone customers may have received from us (Netcomm Wireless, Comnect Standard and Comnect Premium). What type of modem did you receive?
Netcomm Wireless
Your ADSL service is connected via copper cabling to your home.
Important!
The NetComm modem router has been pre-configured with your details. It will connect without requiring any additional settings. Once you have connected your modem, and you are connecting your device(s), you will be prompted to enter your Wireless Security Key password located on the back of your modem, and on a card inside your modem package.
* Splitter Box: A splitter box connects your phone and internet services to the same phone wall socket. A splitter box is included with your modem. If you have several phone sockets in your premises, you will need to use the main socket.
Comnect Standard
Your ADSL service is connected via copper cabling to your home.

The modem router has been pre-configured with your details. It will connect without requiring any additional settings. Once you have connected your modem, and you are connecting your device(s) via WiFi, you will be prompted to enter your WAP2-PSK Key located on the back of your modem.

Comnect Premium
Your ADSL service is connected via copper cabling to your home.
